Anderson (groin) didn't practice on Tuesday, but was able to do some shooting on his own, J. Michael of CSN Mid-Atlantic reports.

Analysis:

Anderson has missed eight straight games due to a Grade 2 groin strain. While his activity Tuesday is encouraging, the fact that he's still not practicing suggests he'll sit out Wednesday's tilt with the Nets. Coach Randy Wittman recently said he didn't expect Anderson to return in the new future, so it's possible the veteran forward will remain out for the remainder of the season.
