This news really comes as no surprise, as the Nuggets have no motivation to hustle Gallinari back from the injury with only draft position to play for at this point. Gallinari is dealing with ligament damage in the ankle, so it seems wise to take a longer-term approach to his rehab, and he should have no issue being at 100 percent for the start of next season, as well as the Rio Olympics over the summer. Gallinari will conclude the season having missed the final 23 games.
