Cousins has officially been suspended for Friday's game against the Heat after receiving his sixteenth technical foul on Wednesday, Marc J. Spears of ESPN.com reports.

Analysis:

Cousins reached the limit after notching his sixteenth technical foul Wednesday, which means he'll sit out Friday without pay. He'll also now be suspended a game after every two technical fouls he records from here on out, although with the season winding down, that likely won't play a factor. The Kings recently announced they plan on sitting Cousins for Saturday's matchup with the Nuggets as well in order to rest and recover, which makes sense, as the Kings have little to play for at this point in the season. Look for Willie-Cauley Stein and Kosta Koufos to see an increase in minutes with Cousins on the sideline.
