Nerlens Noel (knee) says that he wants to get back on the court before the 2015-16 season ends, Jessica Camerato of CSNPhilly.com reports.

Noel (knee) said Wednesday that his goal is to get back on the court before the season ends, Jessica Camerato of CSN Philadelphia reports. "I'm making progress," Noel said. "I've been getting treatment around the clock. I'm starting to feel a little better. I'm looking forward to this weekend so I can see what I'm able to do."

Analysis:

The Sixers have kept Noel out of the last four games while he deals with a bone bruise on his right knee, and he's already been ruled out for Friday's tilt with the Hornets. With Joel Embiid (foot) and Jahlil Okafor (knee) out for the season and fellow frontcourt players Richaun Holmes (Achilles) and Jerami Grant (knee) are also facing uncertain recovery timelines, Noel's potential return would be a boon to the 76ers, but fantasy owners shouldn't bet on the second-year big man returning. The ongoing absences of Noel and the other frontcourt options will leave more minutes available for Carl Landry, Elton Brand, and Christian Wood.
