Jrue Holiday suffered an injury to his right eye in Monday's game against the Knicks, broadcaster Daniel Sallerson reports.

Holiday suffered an injury to his right eye in Monday's game against the Knicks, Pelicans.com's Daniel Sallerson reports.

Analysis:

Holiday still managed to play 34 minutes in Monday's game and finished with 22 points (9-19 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six assists, six rebounds, and four steals, but now there's concern for his ability to play Wednesday against the Spurs. He had just gotten back on the court following a two-game absence due to a blister on his left toe, but we'll have to wait and see how this latest injury may affect his status. If Holiday is forced to sit Wednesday, Toney Douglas and Tim Frazier will likely be in store for substantial playing time, assuming Norris Cole (back) also remains sidelined.
