Livingston will sit out Sunday's game against the 76ers in order to rest, Rusty Simmons of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Analysis:

Livingston, a mainstay of the second unit for the Warriors throughout the season, will get a breather against one of the league's worst teams. He's seen his usage tick up in March with Andre Iguodala (ankle) out, averaging 20.1 minutes through 14 appearances on the month. The Warriors seem intent on surpassing the 1995-96 Bulls' 72-win season over the final stretch of their schedule, which may not afford coach Steve Kerr additional opportunities beyond Sunday to rest Livingston in advance of the playoffs.
