Anderson admitted Tuesday that he's bothered more by his left groin strain than his right groin injury, Scott Kushner of the New Orleans Advocate reports.

Analysis:

Anderson said that while the entire groin muscle is limiting him on both sides of his body, the left side is more susceptible to pain at this point, which was why he sat out his second consecutive game Tuesday against the Heat. The Pelicans aren't certain how long Anderson will be sidelined, and coach Alvin Gentry suggested that it's not out of the realm of possibility for the forward to be shut down for the season. Until the Pelicans provide more clarity on the extent of his setback, Anderson remains worth holding in most leagues, as he should have a large offensive role if he returns with Anthony Davis (knee, shoulder) shut down for the campaign.
