Larry Nance will sit out Tuesday against the Grizzlies on the first night of a back-to-back set, Mark Medina of the LA Daily News reports.

Nance will sit out Tuesday against the Grizzlies for rest purposes, Mark Medina of the Los Angeles Daily News reports.

Analysis:

Nance has been dealing with recurring soreness in his right knee, and in order to minimize further damage the Lakers have been holding him out of one half of back-to-backs. The rookie will sit Tuesday with the expectation that he'll return to availability Wednesday against the Suns. Nance's absence should enable Julius Randle to see some more court time than usual.
