Ryan Anderson: Will not play Tuesday

Anderson (groin) will sit out Tuesday's matchup with the Heat, Pelicans.com's Daniel Sallerson reports.

Analysis:

Anderson is dealing with strains to both of his groins, and will be sidelined for a second straight game. When he does return, Anderson is in line to see increased responsibility while Anthony Davis (knee, shoulder) misses the remainder of the season. However, groin injuries have a tendency to linger, so there's a good possibility that Anderson will miss more games beyond Tuesday. With Anderson out, Dante Cunningham figures to make another start at power forward.
