Vucevic (groin) will remain out for Monday's matchup with the Celtics.

Analysis:

Vucevic's string of absences will extend to nine games Monday as he continues to nurse a strained right groin. Expect Dewayne Dedmon to again start in his place, while Jason Smith remains in line for increased time off the bench. Despite Vucevic's extended absence, the Magic appear content to handle the situation on a game-by-game basis. The Magic are off Tuesday before continuing their road trip in Detroit against the Pistons on Wednesday night.
