Davis is dealing with injuries to both his left knee and his shoulder, Brett Dawson of the New Orleans Advocate reports.

Analysis:

Coach Alvin Gentry didn't offer any further details, but he noted that Davis will meet with team doctors Saturday afternoon. Davis left Friday's game against the Trail Blazers on account of the knee injury near the end of the first half and didn't return. Until the team says otherwise, consider the All-Star questionable to suit up Sunday versus the Clippers. There are rumors that the Pelicans would consider shutting Davis down for the remainder of the season due to all the nagging injuries he's accumulated over the course of the year, which would obviously be a big deal as his fantasy owners prepare for the postseason in their leagues.
