Beal (pelvis) has been ruled out of Thursday's matchup with the 76ers, J. Michael of CSNMidAtlantic.com reports.

Analysis:

Beal has been battling though a strained pelvis for the past week. He has played in the past two games, including a 20-minute outing on Wednesday, which makes his benching Thursday night somewhat peculiar. The guard could be dealing with some general soreness but shouldn't be held out for an extended amount of time. Look for Garret Temple to grab the start Thursday night in Beal's absence.
