The Chicago Bulls have hit a wall of sorts lately, and on Wednesday that came in the form of John Wall. The Washington Wizards point guard posted his third triple-double of the season in a 29-point, 12-assist, 10-rebound effort as the Wiz blasted the Bulls 117-96.

The loss was Chicago's third in four games and seventh in 10 tries.

It was Wall's sixth career triple-double, tying him for the Washington franchise record with Chris Webber. Wall shot 11-of-19 from the floor. Bradley Beal added 20 points.

Both the Wizards and Bulls are fighting for their playoff lives, with Washington closing the gap to a game-and-a-half behind Chicago with Wednesday's win. Despite their loss to the Atlanta Hawks Wednesday night, the Detroit Pistons moved into eighth place in the Eastern Conference ahead of the Bulls.

The Wizards' victory over Chicago also gives them the head-to-head tiebreaker this season.
