Meyers Leonard will sit out Thursday's game at San Antonio with a left dislocated shoulder.

Leonard will sit out Thursday's game against the Spurs due to a dislocated left shoulder.

Analysis:

Leonard suffered the shoulder injury during Wednesday's practice, according to Jason Quick of CSN Northwest. It's the same shoulder that Leonard dislocated in November, which resulted in him missing seven games. The recurrence of the injury could put Leonard at risk of missing more games this time around, but he'll be listed as day-to-day until the Trail Blazers issue a more concrete timetable. In any event, Leonard's expected multi-game absence should result in more minutes for the trio of Miles Plumlee, Noah Vonleh, and Ed Davis.
