Analysis:

Pierce has missed his last three games with a lingering toe injury, and it looks as though he's bound to sit out a fourth in a row Wednesday. The addition of Jeff Green at the trade deadline along with the recent return from injury of Luc Richard Mbah a Moute cushions the blow of Pierce's absence, so the Clippers aren't really motivated to rush the veteran back at less-than-optimal health. After Wednesday, the Clippers won't play their next game until Sunday against the Grizzlies.
