Brandon Jennings: Starting Tuesday

Jennings (Achilles) will start at point guard Tuesday against the Nuggets, Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel reports.

Analysis:

Jennings missed Saturday's matchup with the Blazers due to soreness in his foot, but as expected, he'll return to action Tuesday night. What's more surprising is that he'll be inserted into the starting lineup at point guard with Elfrid Payton (elbow) sidelined, as C.J. Watson had received that honor in recent games. Jennings will be joined by Victor Oladipo in the backcourt, but could still split the minutes at point guard with Watson relatively evenly.
