Carter suffered a left calf strain in Friday's matchup with the Pelicans and it will keep on the bench on Saturday night. The severity of the injury is relatively unknown, but the veteran could return to action as soon as Tuesday, when the Grizzlies take on the Rockets. In his absence, look for P.J. Hairston and Lance Stephenson to see increased minutes.
