Brandon Knight: Questionable for Wednesday's game

Knight (groin) is listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Knicks, Paul Coro of the Arizona Republic reports.

Analysis:

Knight, who has been sidelined the last seven weeks with the groin strain, was able to participate fully in Tuesday's practice, and after experiencing no ill effects during that session, it looks like he could be an option for Wednesday. Considering the combo guard has missed 20 games and the Suns have little to play for at this point in the season, it's certainly possible that Knight will be held out a little longer as a means of picking up more practice time, but in any event, his return seems to be on the horizon. If Knight was dropped in any season-long format during his lengthy absence, it's worthwhile to scoop him up and stash him, as he'll likely step back in as the focal point of the Suns offense when he returns. Knight was averaging 19.7 points, 5.1 assists, and 3.7 rebounds in 42 games prior to suffering the injury.
