Eric Gordon underwent successful surgery on his fractured right ring finger.

Gordon underwent successful surgery on his fractured right ring finger Tuesday and will miss the remainder of the season.

Analysis:

Despite the successful surgery, Gordon will still miss the remainder of the season as his injury-riddled career takes another hit. After playing 78 games in his rookie year back in 2008-09, the 27-year-old has been unable to last more than 64 games in each of his following seven seasons in the NBA. Nevertheless, his current recovery timeline should allow him to be ready at the onset of the 2016-17 campaign.
