Lou Williams: Out next two games

Williams (hamstring) will be out for at least the Lakers' next two games, scheduled for Tuesday against the Magic and Thursday against the Cavaliers, Mark Medina of the Los Angeles Daily News reports.

Analysis:

Williams' return from a nagging strained left hamstring has been slightly extended, with optimism, as the Lakers will give him more time off to recover from the injury. Rookie guard D'Angelo Russell will continue to receive additional minutes to showcase his value, while Marcelo Huertas will benefit from an increased role off the bench. More information regarding Williams' status for Sunday's game against the Knicks should be available later this week.
