Kevin Love: Will sit out for rest Friday

Love will sit out Friday's game against the Wizards for rest, Joe Gabriele of Cavs.com reports.

Analysis:

The Cavaliers have back-to-back games Friday and Saturday, so they have elected to keep Love sidelined Friday in order to gain some additional rest. He's not dealing with anything injury related, so he should be available for Saturday's matchup with the Celtics. With that in mind, look for Timofey Mozgov and Channing Frye to pick up some extra minutes in the frontcourt in his absence Friday.
