Green (coach's decision) didn't come off the bench in Sunday's 98-81 win over the Knicks.

Analysis:

With the newly-signed Joe Johnson making his team debut Sunday and playing 30 minutes, Green's rotation spot was effectively eliminated, as starters Johnson and Dwyane Wade (32 minutes) along with reserves Justise Winslow (36 minutes) and Josh Richardson (30 minutes) covered all the playing time at the two wing spots. It's likely that coach Erik Spoelstra will expand the rotation from eight to nine men in the games to follow, but Josh McRoberts, who also went unused Sunday, would probably earn a spot before the struggling Green. Coming into Sunday's outing, Green had been held without a point in each of the previous three games while going 0-for-11 from the field and 0-for-4 from three-point land.
