Report: Magic claim Chris Copeland off waivers
Jeffrey Becker-USA TODAY Sports
The Orlando Magic have claimed forward Chris Copeland off the NBA waiver wire, according to The Vertical's Shams Charania.
Copeland was released by the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday in order to make room for Steve Novak. The 31-year-old small forward appeared in 24 games for Milwaukee this season, averaging a career-low 2.1 points. He signed with the Bucks last summer after having his 2014-15 season with the Indiana Pacers end when he was stabbed outside a New York nightclub.
