Hickson signed a contract to play for the Wizards over the rest of the season, CSN Mid-Atlantic's J. Michael reports.

Analysis:

He will join the Wizards on Thursday, and will be in uniform for the game that day against the 76ers. Hickson averaged 6.9 points and 4.4 rebounds in 20 games prior to being waived by the Nuggets this season. He takes the spot on the roster that opened up after Kris Humphries and DeJuan Blair were traded to the Suns for Markieff Morris at the trade deadline. Hickson will likely see a similarly limited role with the Wizards, barring a barrage of injuries.
