Nance (knee) could be shut down for the rest of the season, ESPN Los Angeles reports.

Analysis:

Nance's right knee issue flared up during Monday's game against the Bucks, and while the rookie said afterward that he expects to play Wednesday versus Memphis, it seems that the Lakers' coaching staff and/or front office may have a drastically different outlook. He hasn't been ruled out for Wednesday, but even if he does suit up, there's some chance Nance could be shut down in the coming weeks if his knee continues to bother him periodically.
