Jeff Teague: Cleared to play Monday

Teague, who suffered a right wrist injury in the third quarter of Saturday's double-overtime loss to the Bucks, has been cleared to play Monday against the Warriors, Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Analysis:

Coach Mike Budenholzer said after Monday's morning shootaround that Teague was experiencing no problems with his wrist, which ended up limiting him to just 18 minutes of floor time in Saturday's contest. Teague missed over a full quarter of action while receiving treatment on the wrist Saturday, but exited the game shortly upon returning. It looks like Teague's quick pull was only for precautionary purposes, so he should be back to dominating the playing time at point guard after backup Dennis Schroder had one of the best nights of his career Saturday with 25 points, 10 assists, and eight rebounds over 40 minutes.
