Hilario said after Friday's game against the Pistons that he'll likely be given Saturday's game against the Heat off for rest purposes, Jorge Castillo of The Washington Post reports.

Analysis:

After starting at power forward in Thursday's win over the Jazz, Hilario returned to a lower-usage bench role Friday, as the Pistons' smaller lineup resulted in Wizards coach Randy Wittman countering with more perimeter-oriented power forwards in Jared Dudley and Markieff Morris. Hilario went on to provide four points and five rebounds in 17 minutes off the bench, and with 42 minutes under his belt over the previous two nights, the veteran big man is probably in need of a breather. If Hilario is ultimately rested for Saturday's contest, it will likely mean more minutes for both Dudley and the recently acquired Morris.
