Augustin was traded to the Nuggets on Thursday along with Steve Novak and two second-round picks, in exchange for Randy Foye, Ken Berger of CBS Sports reports.

Analysis:

Augustin was bypassed by Cameron Payne for the backup point guard job in Oklahoma City, but he'll likely serve as the top backup to Emmanuel Mudiay with the Nuggets, at least until Jameer Nelson (wrist) returns from injury. Through 34 appearances with the Thunder this season, Augustin has averaged 4.2 points, 1.3 rebounds, and 1.9 assists in 15 minutes. He could see some increased court time with the Nuggets, but probably not enough to improve his production to a level that would warrant much fantasy interest.
