Hickson is expected to be bought out by the Nuggets, Marc Stein of ESPN.com reports.

Analysis:

With the Nuggets likely out of contention in the Western Conference, Hickson has apparently made it known that he'd prefer a change of scenery. It's unclear exactly what the market would be for the 27-year-old, but he's performed fairly well in limited minutes this season, averaging 6.9 points and 4.4 rebounds while shooting 50.5 percent from the floor in 15.3 minutes. Hickson would have to be bought out by March 1 in order to be playoff-eligible.
