James Johnson (ankle) returned to practice Thursday for the Raptors

Johnson (ankle) returned to practice Thursday for the Raptors, Ryan Wolstat of the Toronto Sun reports.

Analysis:

After spraining his ankle Feb. 1, Johnson missed the Raptors' next four games heading into the All Star break. His return to practice indicates he has had the necessary time off to rest, and should be considered on the more probable side of questionable heading into Friday's matchup versus the Bulls. Toronto has struggled with their wing-depth during Johnson's time off, so expect him to take on his normal workload while DeMarre Carroll remains sidelined.
