Tobias Harris: Traded to Detroit

Harris (ankle) was traded from the Magic to the Pistons on Tuesday in exchange for Brandon Jennings and Ersan Ilyasova, Sam Amico of FOX Sports Ohio reports.

Analysis:

The Pistons will likely plug Harris in as their starting power forward, and like Ilyasova did earlier this season, he'll provide a floor-stretching option to complement Andre Drummond down low. The move could result in a slight increase for Harris' fantasy value, as he'll likely receive more stable minutes under new coach Stan Van Gundy than he did under Magic coach Scott Skiles, who was often quite fickle with his rotation. Harris averaged 13.7 points, seven rebounds, and two assists in 33 minutes through 49 appearances with the Magic this season. He's been nursing a sore left ankle, but the All-Star break should give him plenty of time to rest prior to making his debut with the Pistons on Feb. 19 against the Wizards.
