Another member of the Detroit Pistons' title-winning 2004 squad is getting their jersey retired.

After honoring Ben Wallace's and Chauncey Billups' No. 3 and No. 1, respectively, it's Richard "Rip" Hamilton's turn to watch his No. 32 rise into the rafters at The Palace of Auburn Hills.

Vince Ellis and Jeff Seidel of the Detroit Free Press report that no date has been set, but the franchise will retire the masked sharpshooter's jersey, according to "a person with firsthand knowledge of the organization's thinking."

Billups, whose jersey retirement ceremony took place Wednesday, called for his former teammate Hamilton to be next in line.

"Rip has to be next," Billups said. "I would love for him to be next week, next month. Rip Hamilton holds so many records here. He had a long run here. He did a lot of great things in the community here. I'm looking forward to that day."

Hamilton spent nine seasons as a member of the Pistons between 2002 and 2011. He averaged 18.4 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game while shooting 45.5 percent from the field and 35.4 percent from deep.

As for franchise records, Hamilton ranks 10th in total games played, sixth in field goals made, and seventh in assists.
