Report: Clippers, Blazers, Suns, Celtics interested in Shabazz Muhammad

Minnesota Timberwolves swingman Shabazz Muhammad is drawing plenty of attention from the rest of the league.

The Portland Trail Blazers, Phoenix Suns, Boston Celtics, and Los Angeles Clippers have all shown interest in the Timberwolves' promising 23-year-old forward, reports Darren Wolfson of ESPN 1500.

Wolfson adds that "at least" eight total teams are interested.

After a breakout season in 2014-15, Muhammad's productivity has somewhat dropped off in his third season. He's down from 21.3 to 17.3 points per 36 minutes and he's seen similar declines in rebounding, assists, blocks, and steals.

However, Muhammad's shown flashes of developing into a mobile forward who can play from the perimeter as a lethal dribble-drive scorer. He's not much of a passer, but he averaged 13.5 points per game last season while shooting 48.9 percent from the field and 39.2 percent from deep.

Muhammad is owed $2.1 million this season and $3 million for 2016-17.
