Looks can be deceiving.

While the Golden State Warriors improved to a monumental 48-4 with a victory at Talking Stick Resort Arena on Wednesday, the big takeaway from the game came from the losing team when Phoenix Suns teammates Markieff Morris and Archie Goodwin got into a scuffle on the sidelines.

Following the game, Suns interim head coach Earl Watson sought to assure everyone that the shoving match between his two players was an isolated incident.

"I wouldn't say it was a fight, it was a pushing match," Watson said. "Those two are the closest on the team. They're like family."

Watson later added that Morris and Goodwin had once lived together, and that their relationship was like that of a big brother and little brother, according to Phoenix radio personality Craig Grialou.

"Sometimes little brothers and big brothers get into it; that's what happened. Wrong place, wrong time," Morris said.

Goodwin also expressed similar sentiments, saying he loves Morris like a brother, and that their fight was "just one of those situations."

Morris and Goodwin led the way for Phoenix on Wednesday with 19 and 20 points respectively, as the Suns lost their ninth straight game, and 15th in their last 16 contests.
