Gibson suffered a left foot strain and won't return to Wednesday's game against the Hawks.

Analysis:

Gibson suffered the injury in the second half of Wednesday's game and will finish the night with four points (2-3 FG), three rebounds, two blocks, and one assist. The Bulls may have just been being cautious with Gibson by removing him early, and the impending All-Star break should give him a full week to recover before the team's next game Feb. 18 against the Cavaliers. He'll be listed as day-to-day until the Bulls indicate otherwise, joining a long injury list that also includes Jimmy Butler (knee), Nikola Mirotic (appendectomy), and Joakim Noah (shoulder).
