Detroit Pistons shooting guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope says he will back for the team's Feb. 19 matchup against the Washington Wizards, according to David Mayo of MLive.
Caldwell-Pope has been out since Feb. 4 with a core muscle strain, and Detroit has gone 1-2 in his absence.
The Pistons have fared much better with Caldwell-Pope in the lineup, outscoring opponents by more than seven points per 100 possessions when he's on the floor. The 22-year-old leads the Pistons in minutes per game (36.9).
Rookie Stanley Johnson has been solid as Caldwell-Pope's replacement, averaging 12.3 points, seven rebounds, and three assists as a starter.
