Detroit Pistons point guard Reggie Jackson will not play in Wednesday night's matchup against the Denver Nuggets.

Jackson is out with an illness.

The 25-year-old has been a key component of the Pistons' success this season, averaging team-highs in points (19.1) and assists (6.2).

Brandon Jennings will start for the first time this season in Jackson's absence. Jennings is averaging career-lows across the board and is shooting just 36.2 percent from the floor.

Losers of two straight games, the Pistons (27-26) will try and get back in the win column tonight against Denver.
