Monroe will come off the bench again Thursday against the Wizards, Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Analysis:

Coach Jason Kidd told reporters that he intends to keep the same starting lineup he employed Tuesday against the Celtics that included Miles Plumlee starting in place of Monroe at center and O.J Mayo replacing Michael Carter-Williams at point guard. Both Monroe and Carter-Williams still played starter-level minutes, with Monroe responding to his new role by posting a season-high 29 points to go with 12 rebounds. Monroe may be a bench player in name Thursday, but he figures to see his usual allotment of court time.
