Gay (ankle) will try to play Monday against the Cavs, CSN Bay Area's James Ham reports.

Analysis:

Gay was initially listed as doubtful, but after receiving treatment throughout the afternoon, he's going to give it a go after spraining his ankle Friday against the Nets and sitting out Sunday's loss to the Celtics. The veteran doesn't seem close to 100 percent, making him a risky daily play, as both his minutes and his effectiveness could be limited, especially against a formidable opponent in the Cavaliers.
