Kevin Love: Out Saturday

Love (thigh) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Pelicans with what is being labeled as a left quad contusion, the Cleveland Plain Dealer's Chris Haynes reports.

Analysis:

This isn't a bad spot for the Cavs to go without Love given the Pelicans' struggles, although it will force Tristan Thompson and Timofey Mozgov to handle more minutes than usual. Mozgov enters the starting lineup at center with Thompson moving to power forward, and there may also be some lineups where LeBron James also moves over to power forward. Consider Love questionable in advance of Monday's game against the Kings.
