Ezeli (knee) is unlikely to return to action until after the NBA All-Star break, the San Jose Mercury News reports. The Warriors' first game following the All-Star break is Feb. 19 at Portland.

Analysis:

An initial MRI of the knee proved inconclusive and the Warriors have had few answers regarding the injury. The team and Ezeli's agent will bring in additional doctors to examine the cartilage issue that has sidelined the third-year center, who is averaging 7.5 points and 5.9 rebounds per game this season. Until Ezeli is ready to play, the Warriors will cover his absence with a combination of Marreese Speights, more minutes for starter Andrew Bogut, and more time for their smaller lineups.
