Holmes sprained his right ankle during a scrimmage Thursday and is expected to miss the next two games, Jessica Camerato of CSN New England reports.

Analysis:

The rookie out of Bowling Green has held a bench role for the 76ers this season, but he hasn't been much of a fantasy option, as he rarely sees more than 20 minutes per night. Philadelphia will handle the injury on a day-to-day basis, but assuming the current expected timetable holds up, Holmes will miss Friday's game in Washington and Saturday's contest against the Nets. That would set Holmes up for a potential return Monday versus the Clippers.
