Mayo (hamstring) went through practice on Thursday, but will not play in Friday's game against the Jazz, C.F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Analysis:

Mayo has missed the last nine games with a hamstring injury and is set to keep that streak alive when he sits out on Friday against the Jazz. He reportedly looked good while going through practice on Thursday, so a return to the court could be coming sooner than expected. Despite optimism of a potential return, the Bucks could very well still hold him out through the All-Star break. Look for Jerryd Bayless and Rashad Vaughn to continue to pick up a few extra minutes in his place.
