Kentavious Caldwell-Pope will not return Wednesday due to a right groin strain, David Mayo of the Pistons' MLive Media Group reports.

Caldwell-Pope won't return to Wednesday's game against the Celtics due to a right groin strain, David Mayo of MLive.com reports.

Analysis:

Though the Pistons haven't offered word on the severity of Caldwell-Pope, it's disappointing news nonetheless for the shooting guard, who is coming off a tremendous January. He exited the game late in the second quarter, and his inability to return puts his status for Thursday's game against the Knicks in jeopardy. He had posted four points, two rebounds, one assist, and one steal in 16 minutes of action prior to leaving.
