Matthew Dellavedova: Ruled out vs. Hornets
Dellavedova (hamstring) won't play Wednesday against the Hornets, Jason Lloyd of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
Analysis:
Shortly after news surfaced that Dellavedova was considered a game-time call, the Cavs announced they would hold him out to avoid further aggravating his left hamstring, which has been bothering him for roughly a week. The injury isn't considered serious, however, and the fact that the Hornets are using a banged-up backcourt may be a factor in the decision to hold out Dellavedova. Regardless, in Dellavedova's absence, Mo Williams figures to step in as the backup point guard to Kyrie Irving.
