Cousins (ankle) participated in Wednesday morning's shootaround, James Ham of CSN Bay Area reports.

Analysis:

Cousins' status has been up in the air since sitting out Monday's game against the Bucks, but participation in practice yesterday and in shootaround today is a positive sign. There's no official word from the Kings yet, but his status should become clear later in the afternoon after the team's medical staff is able to give him a final evaluation.
