LeBron passes Pierce on NBA's all-time scoring list

LeBron James continued his ascension up the NBA's all-time scoring list with a 29-point performance in the Cleveland Cavaliers' 120-111 win over the Los Angeles Lakers at Quicken Loans Arena Wednesday.
In the process, the four-time league MVP passed Paul Pierce of the Los Angeles Clippers on the scoring list for 15th place in league history.

Pierce is currently in his 17th season in the league, and his first with the Clippers. He's a 10-time All-Star, a three-time All-NBA first team member, and was an NBA champion as a member of the Boston Celtics in 2008, where he also took home NBA Finals MVP honors.
