Mark L. Baer-USA TODAY Sports

Isaiah Thomas of the Boston Celtics and LaMarcus Aldridge of the San Antonio Spurs have been named Eastern and Western Conference Players of the Week, respectively.

Thomas' Celts went 4-0 last week, with the 5-foot-9 guard averaging 20.3 points. The 27-year-old is having a career season in terms of scoring and assists, and will make his first All-Star appearance this weekend in Toronto.

Aldridge, meanwhile, is beginning to put it together after a hot-and-cold start to his tenure with the Spurs. He averaged 26 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 2.5 blocks last week while shooting 59.7 percent from the field and 90.9 percent from the line.

Aldridge is also an All-Star, the fifth time in his career he has been named to the midseason classic.
