Harris (toe) has been ruled out for Wednesday's matchup with the Heat, Earl K. Sneed of Mavs.com reports.

Analysis:

It will be the sixth consecutive absence for Harris, who continues to nurse a sprained left big toe. The Mavericks initially listed Harris as questionable to play Wednesday, but it doesn't sound like he's progressing like the team expected. Coach Rick Carlisle said after Wednesday's morning shootaround that Harris would be "doubtful for at least the next couple games," according to Eddie Sefko of the Dallas Morning News, so there seems to be a strong possibility that he'll remained sidelined through the All-Star break. Carlisle noted that the Mavericks should have another update on Harris' status ahead of Friday's game against the Spurs.
