Garnett has already missed four games with the sore right knee, and it doesn't sound like his condition has dramatically improved yet. The Timberwolves are likely being cautious with their veteran big man in order to get him fully healed up before he return. Gorgui Dieng has played very well in Garnett's absence, and should continue to benefit while the 39-year-old is out.
